Lake Tawakoni J&J Guide Service offer Striper, Hybrid and Sand Bass Fishing Trips

Lake Tawakoni was impounded in 1960 and has an area of 36,700 acres. Located about 7 miles east of Quinlan, Texas. The lake offers some great striper and hybrid fishing, as well as sandbass fishing. JW Peterson and Jim Purdy have the expertise to put you on these fish. Sandbass are a lot of fun to catch and can produce some non-stop action that is great for getting a child (or just about anyone) excited and interested in fishing. The sand bass are easy to catch and produce a lot of action. The hybrid and stripers are usually where you find the sand bass as well. The average hybrid on Tawakoni runs about 7 to 8 pounds. Lake Tawakoni's record for striper bass is 22.25 lbs.
